GLAMOUR Must-Haves: 13 swoon-worthy pieces that our Senior Retail Editor has added to her cart this week

The GLAMOUR team is made up of seasoned shoppers. We’re clued up on the best new beauty products, used to waxing lyrical about runway trends and hot on interior trends worth knowing. But what about the stuff we actually spend our money on? Those random, game-changing products that might not get the airtime they deserve elsewhere on the GLAMOUR website? Read: the butter dish that has made our morning round of toast all-the-more enjoyable. The £35 velvet cushions that have elevated our sofa set-up no end. The wellness journal that’s easing our transition back into the real world and giving us time to breathe

Enter, GLAMOUR Must-Haves: the  weekly series which highlights the weird and wonderful products the GLAMOUR team purchased – and loved – in the week prior.

What was in our carts this week? With much buzz around upcoming AW21 trends (think Granny Smith Green, mega knits and Logo Mania), several GLAMOUR Editors couldn’t help but invest in a new transitional wardrobe staple or two – especially those that are suitable for a return to the office.

Our Fashion Editor Charlie snapped up Loewe’s puzzle small color-block leather shoulder bag to elevate her return-to-office wardrobe while Social Media Director picked up a pair of chunky knee-high boots from ASOS after searching high and low for weeks. Despite their £40 price tag, they look seriously luxe IRL. Elsewhere, Commerce Writer Sophie treated herself to AllSaints’ Lia checked top – complete with square neckline, ruching and a pair of epic puffed sleeves. The autumn/winter top of her dreams.

And to keep our new wardrobe staples in tip-top condition? Beauty and Features Assistant Shei Mamona invested in the very adult but oh-so satisfying Cirrus No.2 Travel Steamer from The Steamery. “I’ve been wanting one of these for a long time,” she said. “There is nothing like the look and feel of pristine and crease-less fabric. This may seem like a random or even frivolous must-have, but let me tell you something, this clothes steamer brings me so much joy and can elevate the look of your clothes instantly.

“It leaves my clothes looking sharp and my sheets looking crisp with a hotel-like finish. It’s portable and lightweight (so you can bring along those delayed summer hols), it’s fast and it’s easy to use. I can’t say enough good things about it to be honest. My ironing board faff days are over.”
