Glastonbury reveals full line-up ahead of first festival in three years

Glastonbury Festival has announced its full line-up and stage times, with acts including The Libertines, AJ Tracey, Kae Tempest and Jamie T added to the bill.

They join headliners Billie Eilish, Sir Paul McCartney and Kendrick Lamar, as well as other acts including Noel Gallagher‘s High Flying Birds, Diana Ross, Sam Fender, Wolf Alice, Haim, Pet Shop Boys, Olivia Rodrigo and Megan Thee Stallion.

This year’s Glastonbury finally gives organisers and fans the chance to celebrate the world-renowned festival’s 50th anniversary, which was first cancelled in 2020, and then again in 2021, due to the pandemic.

“See you nice and early on The Other Stage,” said The Libertines on Twitter, announcing their 11.30am slot on the Friday, while Tempest, who follows them, told fans: “It’s going to be incredible. I love this place so much and I can’t wait to be back there.”

Jamie T, who is headlining the John Peel Stage on the Saturday night, said: “It’s gonna be special.”

More than 3,000 performers will appear across dozens of stages, with details for a few stages still to be announced.

As always, there are still two major slots to be confirmed – on the Park and John Peel stages – leading to much speculation about who will appear.

More on Billie Eilish

In the past, acts including Pulp, Radiohead, The Libertines The Killers have all performed “secret” sets.

Taylor Swift had been due to headline the 2020 event along with McCartney and Lamar, but is no longer listed on the bill – so could she be making a surprise appearance?
