Djimon Hounsou Joins Phoebe Dynevor In New Thriller From Sony Pictures


EXCLUSIVE: Djimon Hounsou has joined the cast of Sony Pictures‘ untitled thriller from producers Adam McKay and Kevin Messick. Phoebe Dynevor and Whitney Peak are also starring, with Tommy Wirkola writing and directing.

Plot is being kept under wraps. McKay and Messick are producing through HyperObject Industries.

Hounsou was most recently seen in the box office hit A Quiet Place: Day One with Lupita Nyong’o. His other recent credits also include Gran Turismo and both parts of Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon. 

Hounsou’s breakthrough performance in Steven Spielberg’s Amistad earned him a Golden Globe nomination and an NAACP Image Award. He later shared a SAG Award nomination with the cast of Ridley Scott’s Oscar Best Picture-winning Gladiator. Hounsou’s filmography includes Shazam! Fury of the Gods, A Quiet Place Part II, Matthew Vaughn’s The King’s Man, Shazam!Captain MarvelGuardians of the Galaxy and How to Train Your Dragon 2.
