How to Livestream Super Bowl 2021: National Anthem and Halftime Show

The Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are facing off tonight (Sunday, February 7) in Super Bowl LV at the Bucs’ home Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. Eastern. Before that, H.E.R. will sing “America the Beautiful,” and Jazmine Sullivan and Eric Church will duet for the national anthem. And, mid-game, the Weeknd will deliver the halftime show. His performance is expected to begin around 8 p.m. Eastern.

The Super Bowl is broadcasting on CBS. It’ll also stream for free on CBSSports.com and the CBS Sports App. Subscribers can watch the game on CBS All Access, too. (Pitchfork earns a commission from purchases made through affiliate links on our site.)

For those without cable or CBS All Access, The game will be streaming on services including AT&T TV, FuboTV, Hulu + Live TV (which offers a free trial), Sling TV, and YouTube TV.

The Weeknd released his chart-topping album After Hours in March 2020. Ahead of the Super Bowl Halftime Show, he’s released the career-spanning compilation The Highlights, which includes songs from House of Balloons, Beauty Behind the Madness, Starboy, House of Balloons and My Dear Melancholy,. The comp also features his collaborative singles “Pray for Me” and “Love Me Harder.” Next year, the Weeknd plans to go on a world tour in support of After Hours.

This past Thursday, H.E.R. released her new single “Fight for You,” which she made for Shaka King’s new film Judas and the Black Messiah. The track’s also been nominated for Best Original Song – Motion Picture at the 2021 Golden Globe Awards. Also in the realm of nominations, H.E.R. is up for three awards at the 2021 Grammys: She got a nod for Song of the Year for “I Can’t Breathe,” along with Best R&B song nominations for “Better Than I Imagined” and “Slow Down.”

Jazmine Sullivan came back last month with the new project Heaux Tales, a long-awaited follow-up to 2015’s Reality Show. After releasing the project, she played a “Tiny Desk (Home) Concert” for NPR and also sang “Girl Like Me” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Sullivan and acclaimed actor, writer, and producer Issa Rae have lately bandied about the idea of making a Heaux Tales short film together.

Eric Church last released Desperate Album in 2018, but, this April, he will be following up the record with a three-part project called Heart & Soul. The first part of the triple-album, Heart, will get released on April 16; the next section, &, is out April 20; and the album completes on April 23 with Soul.
