Chrishell Stause and Jason Oppenheim of Selling Sunset fame have sent the internet into a tailspin by announcing that they’re dating.
The pair both appear on Netflix‘s hit reality TV show, in which Chrishell works as a real estate agent selling impossibly beautiful and (eye-wateringly expensive) houses to the Hollywood elite. Jason is her costar and boss, founder and president of the Oppenheim group.
Alongside their other Selling Sunset costars, Chrishell and Jason are enjoying a holiday in Capri, Italy, with Chrishell announcing their romance in a series of snaps posted to her Instagram. She captioned the photos: “The JLo effect,” apparently referencing recent pictures of Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck on a yacht after rekindling their relationship.
Mary Fitzgerald, Jason’s ex who also appears on the show, commented: “Nothing makes me more excited than to see two of my closest friends together and making each other so happy! 😍❤️”
Mary’s husband Romain Bonnet commented on the snaps, referencing the fact that fans still talk about his wife’s former relationship with Jason: “So happy for you guys ! Finally people will stop with Jason and Mary hopefully 😋🙏🏼😘”
Jason’s brother and business partner Brett also commented: “Love you Chrishell. Thank you for making my brother happy.”
Jason later confirmed the romance in a statement to People: “Chrishell and I became close friends and it has developed into an amazing relationship. I care about her deeply and we are very happy together,” he said.
The new Oppenheim office romance has led to fans demanding season 4 of Selling Sunset.
“Chrishell and JASON? We need Selling Sunset season 4 NOW!!! We march to the Oppenheim Group TONIGHT” one fan demanded.
Another said: “Chrishell dating Jason (her boss) despite him being Mary’s ex, Christine getting fully iced out of the group, and Davina’s $75 million listing still sitting on the market…season 4 & 5 of Selling Sunset are going to be so good”.
Netflix, bring us season 4 of this drama as a matter of urgency, we beg of you.
