Hailey Bieber swears by this £14 face cream

Hailey Bieber lives and breathes skincare. The model has opened up in the past about her struggle with perioral dermatitis, alongside the skincare routines she swears by to keep her complexion runway ready and to achieve her signature glazed donut skin.

Her goal? All the dewiness. “My standard when I go to bed at night is that if I’m not getting into bed looking like a glazed donut, then I’m not doing the right thing. Find yourself a moisturiser that helps you look like a glazed donut at the end of the day,” she previously told followers.

She’s a bona fide skincare junkie with access to the best derms out there, and best of all, she’s willing to share all her insider secrets with her followers. Obviously, that’s one of the reasons she started her own skincare brand, Rhode, which launched last month. There’s just one snag… we can’t access it in the UK yet, which is a major bummer.

But, the good news is, Hailey’s not above spreading the love and shouting about other brands that have helped her skin.

Recently, she took to her Instagram to share one of her holy grail’s. Posting a picture of Avene’s Cicalfate Restorative Protection Cream, Hailey revealed she uses the lotion “on top at night” to seal the rest of her skincare in, adding “I ❤️ this product forever.”

“I have really sensitive skin that tends to be on the more dry side,” Hailey previously admitted, so it makes sense that she’s a fan of Cicalfate which is specifically formulated with dry and fragile skin in mind. It contains the brands signature eau thermale water alongside a restorative post-biotic that was developed to create a bandage-effect over skin and it’s gentle and effective enough to work across perioral irritations (around the mouth), babies’ nappy areas, general dry patches, or for post-shaving or waxing. It even provides sun burn relief and can reduce the appearance of scars, so it’s a pretty nifty do-it-all balm.

The model previously revealed, “at night time, I typically go with a more intense moisturiser – something thicker, just to kind of soak into my skin overnight.” But she highlighted her topical approach to application. “If I was breaking out on my forehead right now, I wouldn’t put a thick moisturiser on my forehead just because I think it can make breakouts worse.” So if that’s you, just apply it to the areas that really need some extra nourishment.

The best bit is you can pick Cicalfate up in Boots. So until Rhode beauty comes to the UK, we’ll be lapping up Hailey’s budget skincare heroes.
