Friends of the late trumpeter jaimie branch have announced a forthcoming tribute show at Trans Pecos in Queens, New York. Wendy Eisenberg, Richard Lenz, Samantha Riott, and more will perform across two stages at the venue on Sunday, September 18. Marc Edwards & Slipstream Time Travel, Sandy Ewen, Shayna Dulberger and writer Rose Tang are also on the bill, with Luke Stewart DJing. See the full schedule below.

branch died unexpectedly at age 39 in August. In recent years, branch had become more widely recognized for her inventive musical collaborations in Baltimore, Chicago, and New York. Her more recent projects included the duo Anteloper with drummer Jason Nazary, and the pair issued its newest album, Pink Dolphin, in June.
