How early is too early to go hard on Christmas? If you ask Mariah Carey and Jennifer Lopez, it’s already time to get cracking.
Mariah declared the holiday season – or as she dubbed it “MariahSZN” – officially open on the first day of November, with a video that saw her switching out her Halloween witch costume for her famous Mrs Claus jumpsuit. And, just in case we didn’t get the memo, she gifted us with another iconic whistle note, singing “IT’S TIIIIIIIIME!!!!!!!!”

As for Jennifer Lopez, she’s shown she’s serious about getting her festive glam on as early as possible. Taking to Instagram this week she posted a photo with the caption “Ready to GLOW ALL OUT this holiday season.” In the picture the singer is rocking a red lip in the most festive holly berry shade, while her eyes are decorated with a dreamy, glittery gold eyeshadow that has party season written all over it. As for her skin, her sheeny, glazed base and bronzed cheekbones provide the prettiest backdrop.
Her matching holly red outfit makes it look like she’s a very chic Christmas present, while her sky-high ponytail is a complete showstopper. Snatched impeccably into place it provides the final finishing touch, with ribbons of hair waving down her back to gift-wrap the look.
