About The Lake Law Firm:

Edward J. Lake, Esq. established The Lake Law Firm, which operates in both New York and Puerto Rico and concentrates on the procurement of mass tort cases. With Mr. Lake at the helm, The Lake Law Firm collaborates with various big and small firms throughout the country and has contributed significantly to the creation of one of the most substantial mass tort collections in the country. Thanks to his connections, if your law firm partners with The Lake Law Firm, you can receive up to 60% or more in fees.

The Lake Law Firm’s partners discovered that many small business owners were not claiming the valuable Employee Retention Tax Credit, which can be claimed per full-time W-2 employee. This was due to a lack of awareness or belief that the application process was too complicated. The firm created an ERTC program that simplifies the process and makes business owners feel safe. The ERTC is a refundable tax credit available to businesses and non-profits that suffered a revenue decline or were impacted by governmental mandates during the pandemic.

The credit does not need to be repaid, and companies may still qualify if they receive Payroll Protection Program funding. The credit is up to $5,000 per employee for 2020 and $21,000 per employee for 2021. A business qualifies if it had a drop in revenue of 50% or more in any quarter of 2020 or 20% or more in any quarter of 2021 or was affected by governmental mandates that caused a partial or full shutdown. The Lake Law Firm offers a streamlined information-gathering process that takes about 30 minutes and only charges a tax-deductible fee if they are successful in recovering money. They also defend clients at no charge if there is an audit.
