Kim Kardashian transforms into a sexy creep in the first teaser for American Horror Story: Delicate

We’ve seen a lot of Kim Kardashian over the years, but we’ve never seen her like this before. (Which is really saying something, because this woman has tried every trend under the sun.)

On 20 July, FX dropped the first teaser trailer for American Horror Story: Delicate, the latest instalment in Ryan Murphy’s anthology series. Kim will make her acting debut on the show, starring alongside Cara Delevingne and Emma Roberts.

The 30-second spot reveals very little about the plot, which is apparently based on Danielle Valentine’s novel Delicate Condition, and even less about Kardashian’s role. (She’s listed as Siobhan Walsh on IMDb.)

Like Delevingne and Roberts, the 42-year-old wears a platinum blonde wig in the teaser, and her skin is painted a matching shade of alabaster white. The three stars, as well as several other background actors in similar patent leather attire and blood-red lips, sway back and forth to a creepy rendition of “Rock-a-Bye Baby.” In the final shot, Kim is holding a baby.

Back when Kim Kardashian’s casting was announced in April, my favourite pot stirrer, Patti LuPone, shared her thoughts on the stunt during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live.

As part of a game called “Do They Give a Damn,” host Andy Cohen asked LuPone, who previously starred on American Horror Story: Coven and AHS: NYC, if she cared about the news. “Yes, I do,” she said. When Cohen volunteered, “You don’t like it, do you?” she replied, “No, I don’t.

“Excuse me, excuse me, Kim,” the star of stage and screen said, addressing Kim directly. “What are you doing with your life?”

John Leguizamo, who appeared with LuPone on the episode of WWHL, chimed in: “Whatever she said, I double the emotion.”
