Don’t X him out of the picture just yet.
In a new interview with Happy Sad Confused host Josh Horowitz, Stewart hinted that Professor X is “still around,” and he has “every confidence” in that fact.
The good Professor has been killed off a few times in the Marvel films, but always seems to return in some form. Stewart also admits that some of those deaths/returns – as in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness — were indeed strange.
Horowitz asked Stewart if he’d be appearing with Hugh Jackman in Deadpool 3.
“It has come up, there’s been a process. You know, the last two, three years have been difficult with the labor problems and the health problems, and Covid, you know.”
