It’s been a bit since a few of the Lord of the Rings guys got together. So naturally, they had to go out and raise a glass of Ent-draught.
The group appeared at Liverpool Comic Con this weekend, and Dominic Monaghan posted an Instagram photo of himself and his costars Orlando Bloom, Elijah Wood, and Billy Boyd happily posing.
“3 hobbits and an elf and the CONVERSATION tonight was VAULTED,” Monaghan captioned the snapshot.
Lady Arwen (Liv Tyler) also commented, “Ohhhhhh too much 😍😍😍😍.”
Monaghan previously teased the reunion with a photo, writing, “This weekend we form like voltron at #liverpoolcomiccon.”
In the post’s comment section, Bloom, added, “Best photo ❤️.”
For those who don’t remember,Wood was Frodo Baggins, the hobbit tasked with destroying the ring, while Monaghan and Boyd played his hobbit pals, Meriadoc “Merry” Brandybuck and Peregrin “Pippin” Took. Bloom was the elven prince Legolas, a role he reprised in the later Hobbit films.
