Iceage frontperson Elias Rønnenfelt has shared his first song under his own name. He co-produced the single, “Like Lovers Do,” with Nis Bysted. It also features contributions by Iceage drummer Dan Kjær Nielsen. In the music video for “Like Lovers Do,” director Kasper Miz captures Rønnenfelt performing the track in the streets of Milan. Check it out below.

Iceage followed their 2021 album, Seek Shelter, with the song “All the Junk on the Outskirts,” which was originally tracked during their Beyondless sessions but wasn’t finished until 2022, and a compilation album focusing on the second half of their career, Shake the Feeling: Outtakes & Rarities 2015–2021. Rønnenfelt also went on to release a book of poetry, Sunken Heights, and he’s collaborated with Dean Blunt, Joanne Robertson, and more.

Previously, Rønnenfelt shared solo music under the moniker Marching Church, but that project eventually turned into a full band featuring members of Lower, Puce Mary, Choir of Young Believers, and Hand of Dust. Their debut album, This World Is Not Enough, came out in 2015 and was followed by Telling It Like It Is the next year.
