Top tip for securing high-demand tickets I went with a group of friends and we each signed up for presale codes for different dates and cities to maximise our chances.

Top tip for securing high-demand tickets Presales were golden for us, while there were still thousands in the queue, there were a lot less than on general sale. My advice for anyone looking to nab tickets is to get on as many presale lists as possible. I also tried to use both my phone and computer on different accounts to get tickets, as I thought it could give us more of a chance of securing them. While it’s recommended that you don’t open multiple browser windows for the same ticket sellers, you can open multiple windows for different sites, as that can give you more of a chance to get the tickets. Finally, with all of the tickets selling so quickly, we decided to set a budget and buy whatever tickets were available within that budget. We didn’t want to be fussy and risk losing out on tickets.

Top tip for securing high-demand tickets For two of my shows, I obtained a presale code by from buying Midnights in a presale, and also finding a box on Taylor’s website that said enter your email here to be signed up for future presale — this was before the UK and Europe leg had been announced so this was key, and I bought Midnights out of genuinely wanting it, not thinking it would get me access to the sale so I got lucky there.

We initially failed at getting Wembley tickets, but on a whim my dad checked Edinburgh hours later and there were still tickets available and we bought them — so go for less desirable locations and be prepared to travel.

My last two, I had signed up everybody I knew up to the presale ballot, and my dad was the only one to be sent a code. This code wasn’t tied to his email — ie. any Ticketmaster account could use it, not one using his email. You can’t access the ticket sale through multiple tabs but one account (the software can detect this) so I signed into three Ticketmaster accounts on three separate devices, one connected to 4G to avoid being detected on the same wifi if that was a possibility.

Take the first tickets you’re given — don’t reject them and try again, all tickets will be gone. You’re going to have to just go with whichever seats/standing area you’re given, it’s not worth the risk of trying again. Just buy them! Within budget of course.

Finally, have all your card information and login information both to hand but also in your account already to speed up the process as even if tickets are in your cart, they can still be bought by someone faster than you.
