“Mama” June Shannon’s daughter Lauryn, also known as “Pumpkin,” recently shared a sale with fans on social media. The item for sale actually had a bit of history for fans of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo: it was a car previously belonging to Alana. That said, fans shared that they were surprised by the sale, especially after seeing certain photos of the vehicle.
Pumpkin Was Advertising A Used Family Car On Facebook
Fans were introduced to the Shannon family through various reality shows, starting with Toddlers & Tiaras. The family’s life was later chronicled through Here Comes Honey Boo Boo and Mama June.
As fans know, Lauryn, also known as “Pumpkin,” is “Mama” June Shannon’s third daughter. Recently, she surprised fans after she got involved with a sale involving her sister Alana, “Honey Boo Boo” herself.

In a recent post on Facebook, Pumpkin shared, “I have a 03 Honda accord EX with 281,071.” Going on to explain the car’s details, she added she “just got fully serviced, has 2 new front tires with alignment, oil change and full tune up.” Some features for the car included a new blow motor, a new driver side window motor, and new front headlights, complete with “all new LED bulbs.” The price was listed as “$3,000 OBO or trade me something.”
As noted on social media, the car was believed to have belonged to Pumpkin’s sister, Alana. Some fans even said they remembered seeing it on the show.
A few fans also questioned the story behind this. As one fan pointed out, “Alana is not active on Facebook,” suggesting why Pumpkin was the one selling the car.
Others suggested the car could have been put in someone else’s names for various reasons, such as insurance. Another suggested that Pumpkin and Josh could have previously purchased it.
Some Fans Were Confused By The Price, While Others Defended It
However, one thing that really surprised fans was the condition of the car. Noting the car’s price, one commenter noted, “Just bought a 2012 Honda accord! 77k miles… for $5,500 Your outta your mind!”
A few commenters also took issue with the price. Others also noted that, while the car looked fine on the outside, the interior was another story.

That said, other fans pointed out that the car might be worth the price to fans of the Shannon family and their television shows. Some comments included:
- “Did you mean $300?”
- “CLOSE the doors please!!! The car looked sell worthy until you opened those doors.”
- “It’s Honey boo Boos 1st car and that might not mean s*** to you but it will someone else.”
- “Ooooh girl 3k is crazy lol the mileage is insane & those seats oooof.”
- “As a die hard fan I wish I had 3k to blow.”
