After Everything – the fifth movie instalment to the After film series – has finally landed on US shores, and we are clamouring to watch it here in the UK.
Yes, that’s right, with the movie already trending on social media following its Stateside release on 13 September, we have to wait a few more weeks for the flick to release on 3 October on Prime Video. Despite the wait, we know that the movie will be in good hands, as the streamer is also home to the franchise’s other films: After, After We Collided, After We Fell, and After Ever Happy.
Much to our delight, Hero Fiennes Tiffin has reprised his role as Hardin Scott, who hopes to rekindle his romance with Tessa Young, who Josephine Langford once again portrays. Unfortunately, Hardin’s journey is anything but smooth as he hopes to face his past demons to make himself a better man for Tessa.

What is the plot of After Everything?
The fifth and final instalment of the After franchise finds Hardin struggling to move forward. Besieged by writer’s block and the crushing breakup with Tessa, Hardin travels to Portugal in search of a woman he wronged in the past – and to find himself,” the official synopsis from Prime Video reads. “Hoping to win back Tessa, he realises he needs to change his ways before he can make the ultimate commitment.”

It’s a challenging time for Hardin, who is suffering from writer’s block and under pressure from his agent, who has given him an eye-watering advance for his manuscript. He soon realises that the only way to move on with his life is to right all his past wrongs, and he books a trip to Lisbon to visit Natalie, a former love interest whom he once treated terribly. He can finally forgive himself after realising that Natalie is doing well and has moved on. After forgiving himself for how he treated Natalie, what will happen when he finally comes face to face with Tessa at Landon and Nora in the States?
