Did Lizzo just announce an engagement or what?

All the rumours are true? Or? What?

Lizzo seems to have very subtly dropped an engagement announcement on Instagram, but we can’t be sure.

The singer and her boyfriend Myke Wright, who went public with their relationship in April, made their red-carpet couple debut at a For Your Consideration screening of her Amazon reality show, Lizzo’s Watch Out For the Big Grrrls, on Sunday, June 5, and in addition to a bright fuchsia Valentino outfit, the Yitty founder wore a diamond ring on that finger (over her glove). She posted a roundup of the look on Instagram, tagging her style team and writing, “Ima boss ass bitch, bitch, bitch, bitch, bitch, bitch, bitch💅🏾 #FYC.”

Casually dropped in the middle of the slideshow is a close-up of her hand resting on Wright’s in the backseat of a car, diamond ring on full display. It’s got a four-petal design and seems to be open, i.e., the band is not a full circle, probably to fit over the glove. Not a traditional engagement ring but…she could have worn this on any finger. Explain? Please?

Wright is a comedian who seems to be in a good relationship with the singer; they’ve known each other since 2016, per Us Weekly. So happy for them, totally. But on the other hand, we were kind of not so secretly hoping that her fake affair with Chris Evans would turn into the real thing. ICYMI, Lizzo has a running joke that she and Evans have a child together, and you know what they say: A bit that starts in the DMs ends at the altar. Okay, no one says that but me, but I’m hoping it’ll catch on.

Lizzo! Please! Tell us what it izzo!
