Taylor Swift has been on her Eras Tour since March 2023, treating fans to old favourites and new hits alike in an incredible 3.5 hour setlist that sees her perform songs spanning from Midnights to 1989 to The Tortured Poets Department.
After what feels like an eternity of waiting, the singer has finally arrived in the UK, with her set to perform three shows in Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium before the rest of her UK dates through June and August.
But since the tour began, Tay Tay has been treating each venue to two surprise Taylor Swift songs which pull some absolute gems from her vast discography in a mini acoustic set.
Back on 17 March 2023 for her Glendale show, Swift revealed “The plan, the goal, would be to play different songs every single night and never repeat one. Right? So that when you heard one on this tour, you would know it’s the only time that I was going to play it in the acoustic set, unless — caveat — unless I mess it up so badly that I have to do it over again in some other city. Send your best wishes towards me that I don’t do that.”
So if all goes according to plan, each night of the Eras Tour will get to enjoy songs that no other stop on the tour will have heard.
