It’s been a while since the last Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck update. And by a while, I mean a few days.
Jen and Ben skipped Monday’s Met Gala, and they were sorely missed: Jennifer Lopez knows how to dress thematically, and I’ll be wondering forever how she would have interpreted “Gilded Glamour.” At the Met Gala, in September 2021, J.Lo, in Ralph Lauren, interpreted the “In America” theme by wearing a western/cowboy-inspired look. J.Lo and Ben did not walk the carpet together, but they were spotted making out outside the museum.
Anyway, J.Lo and Ben were seen out in Los Angeles on Tuesday wearing relaxed, casual spring outfits. J.Lo once again wore wide-leg trousers, which are super on-trend this season. Her roomy trousers are grey with a paper bag waist and. . . suspenders. Yes, it’s true. April is over, this isn’t a fool. Jennifer Lopez wore suspenders. She wore the suspended pants with a black Chanel belt, a white oversized T-shirt with rolled sleeves, and a pair of white sneakers, which made the smart trousers feel a little more casual. She also carried a large black Birkin bag and wore sunglasses.
Ben mirrored his fiancée’s relaxed vibe with a pair of grey linen drawstring pants paired with a cream ribbed crewneck sweater and blue sneakers. See the looks below:
Are suspenders going to be a thing now, like Y2K fashion, wide-leg pants, and platform shoes? I kind of want to see it.
