Margot Robbie’s £159 Barbie Necklace Has Just Been Restocked

The hype around the Barbie movie release has been a lot – deservedly. Since July 21st, we’ve been treated to all manner of wonderfully memorable moments: the film setting a new record as the highest-grossing movie at the US box office by a female director, a Chris “Love Island” Taylor cameo and the spilling of sub-£20 fake tan secrets. Let’s not forget that epic America Ferrera monologue (which the Ugly Betty actress did “30 to 50 times”), either.

But bubbling away in the background for months now has been the hype around Barbie fashion.

Whether you love or loathe the Barbiecore trend, there’s no denying that the Barbie movie outfits have made a sizeable impact in fashion and pop culture. Margot Robbie and her stylist Andrew Mukamal have served up near-on endless inspiration that’ll keep us donning power pink for the rest of the century.

Granted, recreating most of Margot’s Barbie outfits requires you to be a little bit creative. Finding dupes and tracking down look-a-likes. But if you think a little smaller, and take inspo from Margot’s accessories, instead… you might just be in luck.

Cast your minds to the end of the movie, when Margot wears a floaty yellow dress that stands in contrast to her signature style.

She accessories her very chic look with an 18ct gold heart-shaped necklace – which is available to shop at Missoma and finally back in stock.

Of course, at the time of the film’s release, eager fans were quick off the mark, completely selling out the necklace within a matter of days. What came next was the brand racking up a huge 4,000-person-strong (!) waiting list of customers eager to purchase the necklace – and little hope of ever receiving one.
