Princess Of Wales At Wimbledon: Kate Middleton’s Outfit Pays Tribute To Princess Diana

Of course, you can always count on the Princess of Wales to provide a subtle and sensitive sartorial nod to her late mother-in law, and this week’s look – with its double-breasted blazer and contrast white lapels – was unmistakably reminiscent of a black such look worn by Princess Diana at Wimbledon in 1994.

Also paired with gold jewellery, this trend for bold, eighties-inspired tailoring is one that we’re hoping doesn’t go away any time soon.

Joining the Princess of Wales courtside already this week has been the likes of Rochelle Humes, Leslie Mann, Pixie Lott, Clara Amfo and an injured Emma Raducanu, who have all put on their tennis best for the opening days of the tournament.

Hosting many of the biggest names, evian, the official water sponsor for The Championships, are once again encouraging their guests to dress “summer-smart and eco-conscious”, with sustainable, vintage, rented or-reworn pieces thoroughly recommended.
