Salma Hayek Walked the Golden Globes Red Carpet In a Sheer Corset Gown—See Pics

Leave it to Salma Hayek to bring the glitz and glamour to the 2023 Golden Globe Awards red carpet. The actor arrived at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles on Tuesday, January 10, in a sheer, flapper-inspired gown with glitzy fringe details and a stunning bustier with visible boning.

Hayek, styled by Rebecca Corbin Murray, paired the Gatsby-worthy look with minimal jewelry and a black manicure, keeping the accessories simple with a pair of tassel earrings. Her brunette waves were pulled back into a loose update with artfully loose strands and a taupe smokey eye with a pinky mauve lip.

Salma Hayek is presenting at this year’s Golden Globe Awards alongside fellow actors Claire Danes, Jennifer Coolidge, Jenna Ortega, and Billy Porter. The 56-year-old was nominated for best actress in a motion picture, drama, in 2003 for her portrayal of Frida Khalo in Frida. She also took home the Golden Globe in 2007 as a producer on Ugly Betty

The actor has attended several Globes ceremonies over the years, her first being the 2003 Awards, where she wore a simple, cherry red Narciso Rodriguez gown. Hayek’s style these days, however, is anything but simple. The House of Gucci actor has recently reached for more playful pieces, with details like sparkly embellishments, rich textures, or tulle accents.

Her latest film, Magic Mike’s Last Dance, premieres in February, meaning we’ll be treated to a full press tour’s worth of Hayek’s bombshell style very soon.
