If you’re anything like us, amongst the myriad of more serious worries and anxieties that have plagued us all recently, you’ve likely also spent a lot of the last 19 months (!) in varying degrees of isolation wondering when on earth you’ll actually board a plane again.
Now that travel restrictions have eased off, and people are actually able to get about (a bit) more freely, our hearts are longing for some winter sun and a far-flung holiday to escape from this sudden autumnal chill. We love our coats, puffer jackets, boots and jumpers – of course – but we could all do with some last minute vitamin D.
We’ve snapped up all the bikinis and summer dresses that are still in stock, but what we’ve not been considering is our footwear. Slippers/barefoot whilst indoors and at home is fine, but we need something a little fancier while on holibobs.
Footwear is one of the most enjoyable aspects of fashion, and one of the few wardrobe items that won’t betray you if your appetite through lockdown(s) was anything like ours…
Right now is also the perfect time to invest in a new pair, as you can wear them in before summer comes round again and we’re all sweltering in the UK heat (whenever that may be).
