‘Jurassic World 4’ Star Scarlett Johansson Gets Surprise Welcome Message From Jeff Goldblum: “Don’t Get Eaten, Unless You Want To”

Scarlett Johansson is on board for Jurassic World 4 and was surprised with a message from Jeff Goldblum.

During an appearance on the Today show, Johansson was greeted with a message from Goldblum with some sound advice.

“Dr. Johansson, this is Jeff Goldblum,” he said in a video message played by the NBC morning show. “Here’s what I want to say to you. This I know: Scarlett will find a way. Don’t get eaten, unless you want to.”

Goldblum signed off by blowing a kiss to Johansson and saying, “I love you.”

Johansson got giddy at Goldblum saying his iconic Jurassic Park line, “Life finds a way.”

The actress has been open about being a fan of the franchise. In a recent interview, she said she had been trying to be part of the universe since the Jurassic World reboot.

“It’s one of the first films I remember seeing in the theater. I remember seeing it so vividly. It was like life-changing. It was mind-blowing. I cannot express how excited I am,” Johansson told ComicBook.

She continued, “I’m such an enormous fan of the franchise and huge nerd for it. I’m just like, I can’t even, I’m pinching myself. I’ve been trying to get into this franchise in any possible way for over 10 years. I’m like, ‘I’ll die in the first five minutes! I can get eaten by whatever! I’ll do the craft service!’ I’ll do anything for it. The fact that it’s happened in this way at this time just is actually unbelievable. I can’t believe it.”

The new Jurassic World film is set to be directed by Gareth Edwards and written by David Koepp. Koepp is returning to the franchise after writing the screenplay for 1993’s Jurassic Park and its sequel, 1997’s The Lost World: Jurassic Park.
