Disney has released the first official Snow White trailer, previewing the upcoming live-action adaptation starring Rachel Zegler in the titular role.
What happens in the Snow White trailer?
The trailer shows off more of the upcoming film and begins with the Evil Queen (Gal Gadot) being told that Snow White is the fairest of them all. The trailer also shows Zegler’s Snow White fleeing before running into the seven dwarves who would go on to become her companions.
Snow White will be released in theaters on March 21, 2025.

Alongside Zegler and Gadot, Snow White also stars Andrew Burnap as Jonathan and Martin Klebba as Grumpy. Set to be directed and produced by Marc Webb from a screenplay by Greta Gerwig and Erin Cressida Wilson, the project is expected to expand the story and music from the original. La La Land and The Greatest Showman duo Benj Pasek and Justin Paul are also attached to write new songs for the adaptation.
“Disney’s Snow White is a live-action musical reimagining of the classic 1937 film. The magical music adventure journeys back to the timeless story with beloved characters Bashful, Doc, Dopey, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, and Sneezy,” says the synopsis.
This project is part of Disney’s growing list of upcoming live-action projects, including Moana, Hercules, Lilo & Stitch, and Bambi.
