ComingSoon is excited to debut two pages from The Art & Making Of Spellbound from Titan Books. The two pages show off concept art of Nicole Kidman’s Queen Ellsmere, both in human and monster forms. The 176-page book is out today on hardback for an MSRP of $50.
“The Art and Making of Spellbound is the official companion guide to the upcoming family animated film, brimming with beautiful concept art, sketches, and 3D models of the characters, creatures, and locations,” says the official description for the book.

The Art and Making of Spellbound is written by Ramin Zahed, who is the Editor in Chief of Animation Magazine. Zahed has written for Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, Sight and Sound, and others. He has also written Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse The Art of the Movie and The Art of Love, Death + Robots, both for Titan Books.
“Spellbound follows the adventures of Ellian, the tenacious young daughter of the rulers of Lumbria, who must go on a daring quest to save her family and kingdom after a mysterious spell transforms her parents into monsters.
