The new edition of the 2004 album comes with remixes from Poolside, Justin Raisen, MGMT’s Andrew VanWyngarden, and more

Modest Mouse’s Good News for People Who Love Bad News turns 20 in April, and, to celebrate, the band is reissuing the album for its anniversary. The digital expanded edition is out April 5, and a vinyl reissue will follow on May 17. Listen to Poolside’s new remix of “Ocean Breathes Salty” below.

The new edition of Good News for People Who Love Bad News features remixes from Poolside, Justin Raisen, MGMT’s Andrew VanWyngarden, and others. The vinyl package also comes with a new eight-page booklet.

Modest Mouse released their latest album, The Golden Casket, in 2021. The band resumes a big tour with Pixies and Cat Power in May.
