Peso Pluma Joins Bizarrap for New “Bzrp Music Session”: Watch

The latest entry in the Argentine producer’s viral YouTube series features the rising Mexican singer

Argentine producer Bizarrap has shared the latest edition of his “Bzrp Music Sessions,” this time trying his hand at regional Mexican music. The new video features the ascendant Mexican singer Peso Pluma, recorded with the backing of veteran Mexican musicians and featuring elements Argentinian folkloric rhythms and instrumentation.. In April, during Coachella, Peso Pluma joined Becky G onstage to perform their recent single “Chanel.” That same month, “Ella Baila Sola”—Pluma’s collaboration with Eslabón Armado—became the first regional Mexican song to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. Pluma performed the song live on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Peso Pluma released his first album, Ah y Qué?, in April 2020, and shared his second LP, Efectos Secundarios, in 2021. Pluma’s popularity exploded early last year with the narcocorrido “El Belicon,” which has been viewed over 200 million times on YouTube. He quickly began to collaborate with Rancho Humilde artists Natanael Cano and Junior H. And, last week, Peso Pluma released the single “Bye” via his new label, Double P Records.

Earlier this year, Shakira joined Bizarrap for “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53.” The artists performed the song on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
