Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the killing of PnB Rock, The Associated Press reports. A third suspect is at large, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. One of the suspects, a 17-year-old boy, was arrested and has now been officially charged with one count each of murder and conspiracy to commit robbery, as well as two counts of second-degree robbery.

The second suspect who got arrested is a 32-year-old woman named Shauntel Trone. She faces one count of accessory after the fact.

The 40-year-old Freddie Lee Trone is the suspect who is at large. Freddie Lee Trone, who is the teenager’s father, has been charged with one count of murder and conspiracy to commit robbery and two counts of second-degree robbery.

PnB Rock, whose real name was Rakim Hasheem Allen, was shot and killed on September 12 during a robbery at Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles in Los Angeles. Ten days later, Philadelphia’s city council passed a resolution to honor the late rapper.

“The murder of Mr. Allen dimmed a bright light in the lives of his fans, friends, and most importantly, his family,” Los Angeles County’s district attorney George Gascón said in a press statement. “The accused individuals’ alleged actions in this case were heartless and cruel and robbed the world of Mr. Allen’s talents.”

Gasón continued, “I thank the investigators who presented the case to my office. As we do every single day, we will work diligently to make sure that those responsible for taking the life of an innocent victim are held accountable.”
