One year into the COVID-19 pandemic means it’s been one year without concerts. While livestreams can partially fill the void they left behind, their absence serves as a continual reminder of why live music is so special. From finally hearing a song you’ve listened to on repeat live, to discovering an incredible new artist, to simply sharing a sonic experience with a room full of equally enthusiastic strangers—standing in front of someone performing live music always feels like a small miracle.

We all know the saying: absence makes the heart grow fonder. And let’s face it, we’re all missing live music and all the memories it evokes. As we look forward to a world in which we can finally dance in a crowd to our favorite artists again, we want you to share your memories of the concerts that you’ll never forget. Simply fill in this brief form and tell us why it was so special, and if you have a photo, even better! If you share your memory, we may feature it on Pitchfork.com or on our Instagram.

We can’t wait to read about the concerts that have stuck with you most, and share the excitement of the many to come. Share your live music memories here.
