To keep a song relevant even years after it’s release takes either an echo of a memorable time gone by or an anthemic vibe. The Chicago based duo The PondHawks have managed to do both with their pandemic launching of “Invisible Stranger.” In 30 years those listening will either remember or learn…..in either case the song will remain alive as it’s taken place during a historic event.
Both Mario Novelli and Jorie Gracen are accomplished musicians as well as exquisite storytellers. Their “Invisible Stranger” is soaked with deep emotion, plagued with genuine fear and blessed with inspiration all at the same time. With vocal harmonies superbly placed and Jorie’s synth magic, the song stands to become an anthem of the times, even after the times have long passed.
Massively present on social media and possessing over 600,00 loyal fans when the world once again opens freely, The PondHawks will once again rise in the concert world and “Invisible Stranger” will be in live demand. The Grammy nominated duo has grown in popularity through the years and are best known for their Beatle Influences, their supreme ability to tell a story, and their unique harmonies sung byJorie to Mario’s Paul McCartney-like lead vocals.
