Tool’s Danny Carey is no longer facing assault charges in Missouri, Fox 4 Kansas City reports and Pitchfork can confirm. The drummer had been arrested in 2021 at Kansas City International Airport after alleging getting into an altercation with another man at a terminal. According to a ticket issued by Kansas City Airport Police, Carey had “intentionally inflicted injury” by repeatedly using a homophobic slur and jabbing his fingers at the man with whom he was arguing.
