They sang “Tougher Than the Rest” onstage in Auckland, New Zealand
Earlier tonight (March 31), Lorde joined Marlon Williams onstage at the Hollywood Avondale in Aukland, New Zealand for a surprise duet, as Coup De Main points out. Lorde and Williams sang Bruce Springsteen’s “Tougher Than the Rest,” which appears on his 1987 album Tunnel of Love. Watch Lorde and Williams perform their rendition of the song below.
Back in 2014, Springsteen covered Lorde’s breakout hit “Royals” during a concert in her native New Zealand.
