EA Sports FC Pro Mobile Gives The World’s Biggest Soccer Game A Competitive Circuit In 2026

Electronic Arts has officially unveiled EA Sports FC Pro Mobile, the first dedicated esports ecosystem for EA Sports FC Mobile.

The new circuit creates a structured competitive pathway from online qualifiers all the way to a World Championship, with $350,000 USD in total prize money on the line. Registration for the first Global Qualifiers is open now at fcpromobile.com, with competition kicking off in June 2026.

What is EA Sports FC Pro Mobile?

FC Pro Mobile is built around 1v1 gameplay and introduces FC Pro Draft to the mobile side of competition, pushing players to build diverse squads rather than leaning on a single meta lineup. That’s a smart call. Draft formats force adaptability and keep matches from turning into mirror-match slogs, which is exactly what a mobile viewer audience needs to stay locked in.

What to expect from EA Sports FC Mobile’s esports circuit?

The circuit follows a clear season-long structure: Global Qualifiers in June feed into Mid-Season Playoffs later in the summer, a second round of Global Qualifiers in August sets the field, and the whole thing builds toward a 32-player World Championship in October.

“FC Pro Mobile is a pivotal step in reinforcing EA as the undisputed home for football esports,” said Monica Dinsmore, Head of Esports at EA, in a release to press. “By bringing the elite structure of FC Pro to mobile for the first time, we’re evolving EA Sports FC Mobile competition beyond standalone events into a comprehensive and accessible global ecosystem.”

The June qualifiers will be hosted online through Battlefy across Southeast Asia, Europe, the Americas, and Oceania, with an additional slot for players in the Middle East and North Africa. The only barrier to entry is an FC Champion rank or higher in Head2Head mode, keeping the door open for anyone putting in serious time on the competitive ladder.

From there, 24 players will compete at the Mid-Season Playoffs for $100,000 USD, and the World Championship carries a $250,000 USD prize pool across four days of play. Neither sum is going to turn heads in the broader esports world, but for a first-year mobile circuit, it’s a meaningful statement of intent.

To support the circuit across Asia, EA is partnering with Nexon in South Korea, Tencent in China, and Garena in Vietnam for localized broadcasts, marketing, and tournament operations. Tapping into those publishers’ existing networks instead of building from scratch gives FC Pro Mobile a launch pad that most new mobile circuits simply don’t get.

Will players have access to real club banners on mobile?

EA is also working with top soccer leagues and federations to let players compete under official club banners on mobile for the first time, mirroring the structure that already exists on the console side of FC Pro. Specific league partners haven’t been named yet.

According to EA, the broader FC Pro ecosystem pulled in 43 million hours of content watched during its 2025 season. The company also points to its FC Pro Masters event in Asia as a record-breaker, claiming a peak of 673,000 viewers to become the most-watched soccer esports event ever.

The announcement comes at a time when EA has been aggressively expanding the FC franchise’s global reach, from new licensing deals to expanded stadiums and women’s soccer clubs in EA Sports FC 26. A dedicated mobile esports circuit is the logical next step, especially in regions where mobile is the primary way people play.
