Full results: UK at the bottom of the pile again – but who finished where at Eurovision 2021

This year’s Eurovision Song Contest title was awarded to Italy’s act Maneskin, who won with rock track Zitti E Buoni.

A mammoth 524 points means Italy will host next year’s contest, as per Eurovision tradition.

And for the second consecutive year, the UK finished last, with James Newman scoring nil points.

Newman performed his self-penned dance track Embers and took the defeat in good humour drinking beer and standing up to applause from the live audience in the Ahoy Arena.

France came second, with Switzerland third, while Spain and Germany joined the UK at the bottom of the leader board.

Host Netherland’s finished 23rd, with 11 points, ending their two-year reign of the contest.

The contest had to be scrapped last year, owing to the emergence of the pandemic on the continent, meaning 2019’s winner Duncan Laurence had a two-year reign as champion.
