Knuckle up, Sega fans! Watch the trailer for ‘Sonic the Hedgehog 2,’ starring Ben Schwartz, James Marsden and Jim Carrey. The preview teaser introduces Idris Elba, who steps into the role of Sonic’s perennial nemesis Knuckles. The sequel also features the addition of Sonic’s pal Tails, played by Colleen O’Shaughnessey, who’s voiced the beloved video game sidekick since 2014. ‘Taking my old pal Tails for another adventure,’ O’Shaughnessey shared to Twitter on Tuesday. ‘Thrilled to announce I’m the voice of Miles “Tails” Prower in #SonicMovie2! Can’t wait for y’all to see him on the big screen.’ ‘Sonic the Hedgehog 2’ dashes into theaters on April 8, 2022.
