In an upcoming episode of Kitchen Nightmares, as noted by People, Gordon Ramsay could be seen trying a breaded pasta dish at Blake’s Place, a Creole-Italian-themed restaurant in New Orleans. As seen in a promo clip, the celebrity chef found the dish too salty.

Ramsay could be seen grabbing a glass of water, saying. “The breading is so salty.” He then asks a server, “What is this sauce?”

The server then explains Alfredo sauce is served at the bottom of the dish, which also includes fettuccine. Ramsay then comments, “It is so spicy.”

The server explains he is likely tasting the restaurant’s signature seasoning blend. Ramsay then shared a similar comment, “That is so salty,” before asking, “Can you ask them to taste that?”

Taking the food back to the kitchen, the server shared, “Chef Ramsay would like you to taste this.” The restaurant chef asked, “Why? What did he say?”

The server noted, He believes it’s over-seasoned, and too spicy and salty.” However, the chef disagreed, noting, “It’s delicious to me,” causing the server to comment, “All right, sounds good.”

The chef told one of the cooks, “Too salty? Why doesn’t he come back here and cook the pasta then?” Meanwhile, the server assured Ramsay that the chef declared the dish “fantastic.” For his part, Ramsay asked if that is how it is usually served.

The chef then responded to Ramsay’s tastes by telling the staff, “Make everything bland.” As she mandated, “No seasoning, no nothing. Every dish from now on, bland.”

As the publication noted, Ramsay has visited various eateries in Louisiana during the ninth season. The celebrity chef has encountered various issues during the season, including breaking a fork while cutting a steak.
