Ryan Seacrest has been feeling that the most since he took over for Pat Sajak at Wheel Of Fortune, and Drew Carey was in the hot seat in a similar way when he took over for Bob Barker.

While many The Price Is Right fans have enjoyed seeing Drew Carey make the popular game show his own over the years, there are certain moments and certain areas of the game where Bob Barker’s presence is still truly missed, and viewers pointed this out with one of the games recently.

Game Show Fans Say There’s One Game Where Drew Will Never Quite Measure Up

As much as The Price Is Right fans have warmed up to Drew Carey over the years, based on recent fan discussion online, many fans agree that there is one area where Drew will never quite measure up to Bob Barker, despite his best efforts.

According to recent fan discussion online, the topic surrounded a game on the show called Range Game. With this game, players try to win a single prize. In order to do this, they must stop a $150 “range finder” as it makes its way up a price ladder. The catch, of course, is that the price of the item must fall within the range that they stop it in for them to win.

While the game itself is rather straightforward, the way that a lot of The Price Is Right fans feel about it, Bob Barker brought a little something extra to it that, in their minds, Drew seems to be lacking.

• One recent commenter said: “I love Drew as a host, for things like this. However…Range Game is one where Bob’s “we can’t start it again for ___ hours” (some crazy number) is something Drew just can’t replace.”
