Rita Ora is heading to Hollywood.
The British pop star is to replace Nicole Scherzinger for Season 11 of The Masked Singer after Scherzinger signed up to star in London’s West End.
The news comes ahead of the regular timeslot launch of The Masked Singer on September 27.
She will join Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg and Robin Thicke for the whole of Season 11, which will launch in 2024. The show has aired two seasons a year since its launch in 2019, one in the fall and one in midseason.
Ora, who is married to director Taika Waititi, is no stranger to the world of The Masked Singer; she starred as a judge on the British version of the show, which airs on ITV in the UK.
It comes as Scherzinger is heading to London to star in the revival of Sunset Boulevard. The Pussycat Doll will play Norma Desmond in the production, which launches later this month at London’s Savoy Theatre.
Ora is best known for her pop hits including “R.I.P.” and “How We Do (Party)” and has also starred on The X Factor UK and The Voice Australia. She is also set to appear opposite Jamie Foxx and Robert De Niro in the upcoming film Tin Soldier and will join Brandy in the Descendants sequel The Rise of Red.
