Since they needed to see, Chloe and Trent lit a 200-ounce candle that was gifted to them for their housewarming. Unfortunately, after it burned out, the couple was desperate to replace it. Yet, they learned that candles similar to that one were hundreds of dollars, which was ridiculous.
That was when Chloe set out to make an affordable but large candle for the masses. The big draw to the candle was that it was not only warm but bright and lasted for days, so it was a great gift. Trent began playing around with ideas and landed on a coconut and soy wax blend. This was the perfect formula, and soon, they were sharing it with friends, who found various uses for the candle. Initially, it was jokingly called Big Ass Candles. The first candle was 300 ounces and lasted for 1000 hours, while a smaller candle was half the size but was everlasting.
The couple stayed true to themselves and have not taken any investors. Rather, Chloe and Trent have done it on their own and have become a hit in the real estate world. The candles are a great housewarming gift, just as it was for the couple. Now, they are ready to see if Shark Tank will bite as they launch their product into a new universe.
