Amazon Prime Day vacuum deals come but twice (at most) a year, and given how expensive a top-rated Shark hoover can be, this week is the perfect time to snap up your model of choice and save the big bucks on something altogether more glamorous. Like a hotel in Mallorca, for example.

Whether you’re after a corded or cordless vacuum – or perhaps even a futuristic robot vacuum – we’ve seen some of the best early Prime Day deals in the vacuums category, and there is still a wide selection of deals to choose from.

I’ve trialled countless yoga pants, I wear a different pieces of kit almost every time I head out for a run (belts, fitness trackers, running trainers – the lot), and my bathroom cabinet is overrun with health supplements that promise everything from more energy to better sleep. They don’t all keep to their word… but some are genuinely game-changing.

The thing is, some are so expensive that I’m unsure who, if not in the industry, is buying them. Enter: these epic Amazon Prime Day fitness deals which can help you save on wellness products by the likes of Reebok for less.

How to take part in Amazon Prime Day 2023:

You have to be an Amazon Prime member to take part in Amazon Prime Day – or at least be on a 30-day trial, so bag yourself an Amazon Prime Membership sharpish if you haven’t already.

Signing up to Amazon Prime membership allows you to benefit from next-day delivery when you hit pan on your favourite face serum, over 800,000 free e-books, access to Prime Video and more.

Prime membership costs £8.99 a month or £89 for a year to pay up-front, and you can sign up super quickly. As mentioned, you can also sign up to a 30-day free trial using a unique email address, enabling you to benefit from Prime Day deals without paying.

If you’re not keen on shopping with Amazon, fret not. There are plenty of other summer sales happening right now to benefit from – with those happening at ASOS, Arket, COS, & Other Stories, Currys, Simba Sleep and Boots being among our favourites.

Tips for finding the best Amazon Prime Day deals:

Impulse shopping is not allowed round these parts, so before diving head first into the Amazon Prime Day deals event, plan out your purchases. Downloading the Amazon Prime app is handy – it sends you live notifications to keep you on track – and you can save your favourite products to monitor deals.

Is Amazon Prime Day worth it?

This comes down to how much use you get out of the products that you buy. If you buy a Roomba vacuum then pay for a cleaner and never once turn it on, then no, Amazon Prime Day is certainly not worth your time.

That said, if you only partake in a couple of purchases of products you need to top-up, and those you’ve been after for a long time, the £8.99 monthly fee makes the savings worthwhile. You’ll generally find the best savings on higher ticket products like laptops, TVs and Amazon devices.

What’s bigger: Amazon Prime Day or Black Friday?

In case you’ve been living under a rock for the past couple of years, we can generally categorise the “biggest shopping events” of the year into two: Amazon Prime Day and Black Friday. Black Friday is, arguably, more famous – not least because of the swarms of physical shoppers it attracts to the high street – and it encompasses a plethora of stores as opposed to just one. But that doesn’t mean the deals are necessarily any better. When comparing apples to apples (a Ninja Air Fryer with another Ninja Air Fryer, for example), there isn’t too much difference in terms of size and quality of deals.
