Robert Kelker-Kelly refused to go to hospital before death, police say
As per Page Six, a police report stated that Kelker-Kelly suffered a cardiac arrest at his Missouri home after coming back from Spirit of St. Louis Airport. His wife, Allison Kelly, picked him up from the place at around 7.30 p.m. on October 3.
She told the police that her husband experienced pain in the chest, neck, and left arm while on their drive home. At the time, she asked him whether he wanted to stop by the hospital and get himself checked. However, Kelker-Kelly refused and said that he would just lie down in the car on their way home.
Allison revealed that they came back home and Kelker-Kelly changed his clothes, wearing a black T-shirt and grey boxers. He then went to bed, but the pain intensified. So he asked Allison to get him aspirin. When she went to the kitchen and came back with the medicine, she found her husband “unresponsive.” She immediately called 911 and also began the CPR process.
According to the report, “Robert was lying in bed on his back with his head facing east and his feet facing west. Robert was wearing a black tee shirt and grey boxers at the time of contact. The St. Charles County Ambulance District (SCCAD) arrived on scene and began providing medical attention for Robert who was unresponsive and not breathing.”
Despite the paramedics’ life-saving efforts, the actor was pronounced dead. According to his wife, he had no known pre-existing medical conditions. She said that he occasionally smoked cigars but mentioned that he didn’t use any illicit substances. The case has been closed, declaring it as a “sudden death.”
