Netflix released its 2026 Holiday Trailer Week teaser on October 12, unveiling four new Christmas movies arriving this season. Additionally, the streamer promises a week of full-length trailers for each title. These films will debut weekly from November through December.
A Dog’s Perfect Christmas kicks off the lineup on November 4. The film follows a teenager, her grandfather, and his basset hound trying to hold their family together during Christmas. Dennis Quaid, Milo Ventimiglia, Jennifer Tilly, and Mary Steenburgen lead the cast.
Next, Tyler Perry’s The Gospel of Christmas arrives on November 11. A struggling pastor inherits his family’s church in a broken New York neighborhood and must rediscover his faith before Christmas. Fantasia Barrino stars alongside gospel legends Shirley Caesar, Yolanda Adams, and The Clark Sisters.
Meanwhile, Guarding Stars premieres on November 18 and pairs Leighton Meester with Jared Padalecki. A bodyguard assigned to protect an action star over the holidays finds sparks flying as secrets unravel. The film adapts Katherine Center’s novel The Bodyguard and also features Andie MacDowell.
Finally, In a Holidaze closes the slate on December 2 with Maddie Ziegler and Rob Lowe. A directionless twenty-something gets trapped in a holiday time loop after a romantic mistake. The adaptation draws from Christina Lauren’s novel of the same name.
Beyond the new titles, the teaser also highlighted returning holiday favorites already streaming on the platform. Those titles include Falling for Christmas, Family Switch, The Merry Gentlemen, Hot Frosty, Best. Christmas. Ever, The Princess Switch 3, and My Secret Santa. Netflix’s full trailer rollout continues throughout the week leading up to each film’s premiere.
