2K has announced that NBA 2K26 Season 7 goes live this Friday, May 15, 2026, putting cover athlete Angel Reese in the spotlight as she kicks off a new chapter with the Atlanta Dream. The timing isn’t a coincidence. The WNBA regular season just tipped off, and the NBA postseason is hitting its peak, giving Season 7 a nice real-world backdrop to lean into.

What’s coming in NBA 2K26 Season 7?
Reese headlines the rewards across multiple modes. MyTEAM players can grab an Invincible Angel Reese card right at Level 1, with a Dark Matter Phil Jackson Coach Card at Level 28 and a G.O.A.T. Michael Jordan (SG/SF) waiting at Level 40. That’s a strong rewards track by any season’s standards, and having MJ as the Level 40 carrot should keep the grinders locked in.
On the MyCAREER side, seasonal rewards include a Dune Buggy Vehicle, the Cleveland Cavaliers’ Moondog mascot, a Low Poly Baller, and a +1 Cap Breaker at Level 40. The Cap Breaker alone is going to be the big draw for anyone still building up their MyPLAYER.
Rivet City Park, the fan-favorite environment from NBA 2K16, is also returning. The W Online is celebrating the start of the WNBA season with weekly cosmetic drops and seasonal rewards tied to the Atlanta Dream, including a team basketball, jersey card, and 5,000 VC. Players looking for more can pick up the Season 7 Pro Pass, which adds 40 levels of premium content topped off by a Pro Pass G.O.A.T. Michael Jordan (PG/SG) card and a 100 OVR Stephen Curry.
