Hear Howard Bloom’s Surprising Words on Space

On Monday, June 2, 2025 at 10 am Eastern Time, Howard Bloom will address a European and American audience for the public service group Space Renaissance International.  Bloom will explain the startling implications for space of his newly-released book The Case of the Sexual Cosmos: Everything You Know About Nature Is Wrong.

On its website, https://spacerenaissance.space/sri/, Space Renaissance International explains that it is “a global organisation dedicated to getting humanity off-world, not just astronauts engaged in pioneering exploration, but humanity, en masse.”  Says Space Renaissance, “Humanity can’t continue to live in an unsustainable manner, within a closed-system.   This is what has led to many of our current cultural and socio-economic problems.  The mission of SRI is to facilitate the development of mankind as an interplanetary society.”

Space Renaissance International’s guest, Howard Bloom, has been called the Einstein, Newton, Darwin, and Freud of the 21st century by Britain’s Channel 4 TV.  Bloom is the author of eight books, one of which was the subject of a symposium thrown by the Office of the Secretary of Defense including representatives from the State Department, the Energy Department, DARPA, IBM, and MIT.  Bloom’s work has been published in The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Wired, Psychology Today, and the Scientific American.  He is the founder of the Space Development Steering Committee, co-founder of The Asian Space Technology Summit, and a member of the Board of Governors of the National Space Society.

Harvard’s Ellen Langer says that in The Case of the Sexual Cosmos “Bloom makes a forceful and interesting argument that our understanding of nature is wrong. He argues that we are not savaging the earth as some would have it, but instead are growing the cosmos. A fascinating read.”

Concludes Joseph Chilton Pearce, author of Evolution’s End and The Crack in the Cosmic Egg, “I have finished Howard Bloom’s [first two] books, The Lucifer Principle and Global Brain, in that order, and am seriously awed, near overwhelmed by the magnitude of what he has done. I never expected to see, in any form, from any sector, such an accomplishment.  I doubt there is a stronger intellect than Bloom’s on the planet.”
