The Bachelor Renewed Amid Cancellation Rumors
Many devoted Bachelor Nation fans thought the show was on the decline before Joey Graziadei was named the lead for Season 28. His season was the most popular in years. It ended in an engagement between him and Kelsey Anderson. They’re still together and starting to plan their wedding.
However, Season 29 didn’t have the same happy ending. Grant Ellis proposed to Juliana Pasquarosa, but the moment was overshadowed by his runner-up, Litia Garr, claiming that Grant led her on. Breakup rumors followed Grant and Juliana since the season finale aired in March.
The rumors turned out to be true. They confirmed in early June that the relationship was over, less than three months after the proposal aired on TV. Zoe McGrady, who finished in third place, called Grant out earlier this week for his behavior during and after the show.

Jenn Tran’s Bachelorette season sparked a lot of backlash toward the production crew. Devin Strader, who she was briefly engaged to, had a restraining order and an arrest in his history, but the show’s background check missed it.
The uproar led to major shakeups behind-the-scenes in the franchise. Multiple producers and showrunners connected to the franchise left their jobs earlier this year, including Bachelor showrunners Claire Freeland and Bennett Graebner.
Season 30 will have new blood. Scott Teti takes over as showrunner and executive producer. Scott Teti also served as showrunner and EP for the upcoming Bachelor In Paradise. The beach spinoff returns for Season 10 on July 7, 2025.
Do They Have A Lead Already?
The Bachelor is returning for Season 30, but when? ABC didn’t reveal that information yet, but it will likely air in January 2026 like it usually does. The show is currently casting women for the new season.
