DWTS Peta Murgatroyd’s Big Life Change
It’s a big time of change for Peta. She and her Dancing with the Stars co-star and husband, Maks Chmerkovskiy, packed their bags and moved across the country. The pair packed up their three sons and all of their belongings and made the long journey from LA to Boca Raton, Florida. They documented their journey in a social media video, which shows Peta in tears next to her husband as she shares an emotional statement about their decision.
“Something new is never easy. There are tears you don’t expect, goodbyes that hit harder than you imagined, and moments where you wonder if you’re making the right decision. But sometimes you have to leave what’s comfortable to find what’s meant for you. Looking back now, we know this was the best decision for our family. Our boys are so happy, our hearts are full, and we’re incredibly grateful for this new chapter,” she writes in the post. She finishes the caption, writing, ‘Goodbye LA. Hello Florida. 🌴❤️.
Clearly this has been a very emotional decision for the couple. Cross-country moves are never easy, especially with children involved.
The video shows clips of the family packing up their house and getting in the car to leave. Both Maks and Peta can be seen crying in the car. The whole video has a very somber feel as the words “new beginnings” appear on the screen.

It’s no surprise that fans of the couple are full of support in the comment section of the video. Most welcome them to Florida with enthusiasm.

Others, however, weren’t quite as positive. Some question why the couple is moving if they are so sad. Others speculate that they just want to have more money.
