He was presented with an honorary Palme d’Or for his legendary career in acting. Despite the prestigious award, he made headlines around the world for something else – his “unrecognizable” look. He made his film debut in the 1970s and has starred in classics such as Saturday Night Fever, Grease, and Pulp Fiction.
The actor, 72, looked half his age and thinner than he has in a while. But what really caught attention was his choice of headwear. He embraced his bald look around 2019 and has been rocking it ever since. However, for Cannes, he chose to wear a beret on his head. He continued the trend once he returned to the States for various interviews about his movie and viral appearance.

The couple had two other children – Ella Bleu, 26, and Ben, 15. John Travolta’s daughter followed in his footsteps into acting. They appeared together on the Today Show this week to promote their new movie. Host Willie Geist brought up the actor’s long career and recent transformation.
He showed an old clip from 1977 of John Travolta speaking to Jane Pauley. The actor had a full head of black hair and was wearing a black turtleneck with a suede jacket in the clip. Upon seeing the old footage, Ella Bleu exclaimed that her dad looked just like her younger brother, Ben.
