‘Little Rascals’ Brandon ‘Bug Hall Begs For Help With GoFundMe

Former child actor Brandon “Bug” Hall is known for having stepped away from Hollywood a few years back. Recently, however, he called on fans for financial support. This comes out after he shared big news in his family.

Brandon ‘Bug’ Hall Became Known To Many As A Child Actor Throughout The 1990s

Hall is best known for portraying the Our Gang character Alfalfa in the 1994 film, The Little Rascals. Around this time, he appeared in The Stupids, The Big Green, Disney’s Hercules, Safety Patrol, Get a Clue, and The Munsters’ Scary Little Christmas.

In his personal life, Bug has been married to Jill de Groff since 2017. The two share five children together.

Recently, the couple announced that they were expecting their sixth child together. Ahead of this, however, the former child star launched a GoFundMe campaign to help raise funds associated with setting up their new home.

According to Hall, he was initially reluctant to launch the GoFundMe campaign. However, he felt things have reached a point where he felt it was unavoidable.

Hall shared, “It’s now six years since I self-cancelled, and I have avoided doing one of these in all that time. I always said this was my choice, and so I didn’t want to offload the glorious burden of it unless there was no other choice. Well, here we are.”

At The Time Of The Share, Hall Said That The New Baby Was Only A Month Away

Hall claimed that he and his family were working towards moving to a new property in rural Arkansas. However, the family has since faced challenges.

The actor shared, “We’ve made it onto the new land in record time, but I’m a few materials short of having things working right, and I’ve fallen a little behind on the few bills we have (phone, propane for the camper, and an unexpected electric hookup service fee.)”

Hall continued, “We’re all overjoyed to be where we are, and we’re even enjoying roughing it, but baby six is less than a month away, and I really need some help getting the last few things buttoned up beforehand.”

The actor expressed, “My hope is to finalize everything here over the next two weeks. So I can take some work until the baby arrives. Times are hard for everyone. And I’m no more deserving than anyone else, but I ask in your charity that you help where you can, whether monetarily, by sharing this, or by prayer and sacrifice for the Hall-Barnetts of the Holy Cross.”

The original goal was set at $2,000. However, it has since earned at least $9,000 from 102 donations.

This campaign comes out after Hall was arrested in Ohio back in April after failing to appear in court. According to Us Weekly, he missed a late 2024 court date tied to a traffic citation for driving without liability insurance. He was charged with failure to appear.
