Anna Johnston recently announced her exit from 7 Little Johnstons. Recently, however, she has made news after a recent arrest in Georgia. According to reports, she wasn’t the only figure arrested at the site of the incident.
Anna Johnston Of 7 Little Johnstons Fame Was Arrested On October 10 & Taken To A Georgia Jail
Fans were introduced to Anna and her family through the reality series 7 Little Johnstons. The series made its debut on TLC back in 2015.
Anna is the adopted daughter of Trent and Amber Johnston and was originally born in Russia. It was previously confirmed that Anna would be departing the family’s TLC series and wouldn’t be part of Season 17.
According to The Ashley Reality Roundup, Anna recently found herself in jail in Georgia. On October 10, cops reportedly saw her car parked on the side of the highway. Allegedly, she and her boyfriend Jeffrey Messervy got into an argument.
An arrest warrant claimed that Anna was driving a car with Jeffrey and his cousin inside. Jeffrey appeared “distressed” while standing in the rain and could be seen using the phone. He claimed that he was “upset due to Anna driving them around with alcohol in her system.”
An officer wrote, “At the time of my arrival, [Jeffrey] was on the phone with a friend asking them to come pick the three of them up so that Anna would not have to drive any further.”
Jeffrey Was Also Arrested After Providing His ID To The Cops, With His Cousin Driving The Car Away
Anna shared another story, claiming that she and Jeffrey were fighting about the location. However, the officer noticed that her speech was “slurred.”
Jeffrey’s cousin also told cops that she had a shot of alcohol before driving, which she herself denied. The officer noted, “She continued to have slurred speech during our conversation,” describing her as unsteady on her feet.
A sobriety test later indicated that her BAC was 0.139. In the state of Georgia, it is against the law to drive with a BAC higher than 0.08%. At that point, Anna was arrested for driving while under the influence.
Jeffrey was also arrested, as cops discovered that there was a warrant out for his arrest. His cousin ultimately drove the car away.
The outlet also shared Anna’s mugshot following her recent arrest. More is expected to come following this story.
